Used Cuplok now in stock, we have just purchasd a large amount of used cuplok scaffolding in very good condition.
Standards, ledgers, transoms are all available, along with as new galvanised steel stage.
We supply the two most commonly used system scaffolds in the UK, Kwikstage (designed by GKN Kwikform) and Scaflok (which is an alternate/compatible type of "Cuplok / Cuplock", designed by S.G.B.). Whilst each system is different, they are both based around a bay size of 8ft / 2.5m and 6ft / 1.8m with a width of 4ft / 1.3m.
Each system can be used in just about any application and is the safest option if you intend to erect the scaffolding yourself.
Cuplok, Cuplock or Scaflok, is a galvanised system that uses a "cup" and "blade" type arrangement to lock the various standards and ledgers together, the blade joints are captivated using a twist action.
As mentioned above "Cuplok/Cuplock" is designed by S.G.B. and Cuplok is now replicated by many companies across the globe. The prices shown in our Cuplok price list are for Scaflok, which is our version of Cuplok system scaffold. However we can supply genuine S.G.B. cuplok products if required, quotations available on request.
Whilst the main "frame work" of the Cuplok system remains the same, the deck/boarded level is available in two types. Standard scaffold boards (38mm thick) which are supported by Intermediate Transoms approx every 1.2m/4ft, and Omega Battens (63mm thick) which are dropped into place between Omega Transoms with no need to support inbetween (basically the same system as kwikstage but galvanised).
Cuplok/Cuplock is more expensive than Kwikstage, this is mainly due to Cuplok being galvanised and holding its appearance/finish, whilst Kwikstage is painted when new, and can become rusty when secondhand.
